Lately, I’ve been on a sneakers kick. When I peruse the web and scroll through the shoes section of any online store, I find myself looking at sneakers only, bypassing and practically ignoring heels, sandals, wedges and flats. I’ve been so unwittingly focused on the array of sneaker options that I’m sure I’ve missed some super cute heel designs.
Fashion is taking a more casual approach starting with athleisure wear, and sneakers are now more versatile than ever. Combining a very girly or dressier item with sneakers have become almost the norm, giving a look a little edge. My latest obsession is combining a dress with sneakers.
I found this dress at H&M for only $13 inter basics section. What a score, huh? The dress is not available online anymore, but I’m sure they still carry it in store. I’ve also linked very similar dresses in the shopping widget above, some in short sleeve versions since the weather is getting warmer.
These designer inspired sneakers were just $39. When they arrived, I was amazed at how light weight and comfortable they are. Its like walking on clouds, literally! When I first saw them, I wasn’t too keen on the green and red back details, specially each being different. I would have preferred one color on both, but its a minor detail that I’m learning to embrace.

I haven’t taken these sneakers off since I got them last week. I’ve been wearing them with just about everything! That little embroidered bee is just too cute. Are you into the new sneakers trend?
