#Tb to that time in Miami when I had them close off Ocean Drive to take these pictures for my romping Around Miami post. Then I woke up 😏. I’m totally kidding about that, I wish I had the power to close off Ocean Drive. It was closed off for Memorial Day Weekend activities and the Air & Sea Show, which was actually pretty nice since we were staying right there and the street wasn’t congested with cars.
So, we took a nice little stroll early in the morning looking for a place to have breakfast. We had already been to The Front Porch Cafe, just steps away from our hotel, and loved it but we wanted to try something else. Unfortunately, the other place we wanted to try hadn’t opened yet and we were told they weren’t going to open for another hour because of kitchen issues. So we went back to The Front Porch and had another amazing breakfast, so I’m not mad. If you’re ever in Miami Beach, I highly recommend getting their French toast, it is infused with orange zest, which I thought was going to be a little odd, but it was literally the best French toast I’ve ever had, hands down. Also get their cafe con leech (coffee and milk). This place is a little pricey, but totally worth it and they have a nice outdoor seating area. **This is not sponsored by The Front Porch, btw**
Ok so this seersucker embroidered romper is my latest obsession. Its so comfortable I could live in it. The tropical embroidery on the back really gives it a unique detail and it was perfect for this trip, but I’m sure I’ll be wearing it all summer. I paired it with my designer dupe sneakers and can also easily be worn with wedges or mules. The earring are from Erin McDermott Jewelry, a friend and local Charlotte jewelry designer, and I thought they were perfect because of the white wood chips that also carry that tropical feel to them. Fun fact: you may see my face on her site in a few spots ☺️
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you check out my other post on Miami!
